I am a YA & Women's Fiction writer. Trying my hand at my first steamy romance novel. Wife. Mom to 5. Freelance contributor to family, food & lifestyle pubs. I love chocolate, books, photography, scrapbooking & Sushi. Not necessarily in that order.

NaNo Nicknames

Today’s comic by Debbie pokes a little fun at NaNo nicknames. Unfortunately, mine isn’t related to NaNo at all. I’m ‘simplywriting’ over on the boards. Why? Because I’m simply writing. Well, actually – that’s how the nickname started years ago, but I use it on the boards because it is the name I most often go by on the ‘net.

If I was going to come up with a NaNo specific nickname, it would probably be ‘BringMeMoreCoffeeICan’tStopTyping’. Yep, that’s it.

So what is your nickname and why did you choose it? If it isn’t NaNo specific, what would YOUR NaNo name be?

I’m Webitchtress. The first year I joined Nano I was also writing sex stories for my own blogs which turned into a full time gig writing sex stories for an agent. I do have the webitchtress domain and a blog there, mainly about goth stuff these days. But if I were to rename myself something Nano specific it would probably have to be I’mInMyOwnLittleWorldDoNotDisturb because that’s pretty much how I write first drafts. Reality? Whose?
